Before founding VS Development, Kristian and Jesse built complementary careers across real estate development, engineering, construction, brokerage, ownership, and property operations. Kristian spent more than two decades helping lead complex multifamily, mixed-use, senior living, and commercial projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Jesse built his career through brokerage, development, construction, and direct ownership, including founding Vann Development in the U.S. Virgin Islands and developing and operating properties in both the Virgin Islands and Maryland.

What brought us together was a shared instinct that Baltimore’s historic buildings and overlooked properties are opportunities rather than obstacles. We believe successful development respects what came before while creating places that work for the people and communities who will use them next.

VS Development grew from that idea and from a partnership built on complementary strengths, open dialogue, and a willingness to stay close to the details.
